bald at last

I'm officially bald. My hair was falling out like crazy this morning, so I just cut it all off. It feels great. I have a wig for work and whenever else.

I sent this email to my brother, sister and dad, I managed to avoid the C word:

I'm going to be having same-day surgery on Thursday. I have a lump in my breast that needs to be removed. I won't know until after the surgery if it has gotton into my lymph nodes (which means it might have spread). I'm going to take a week off from work since I have so much vacation time. They said I may feel ok after a couple of days.
